Essel Group's Affordable Residential development "Asha" is located on a 10.08 acre site in Panchkula (outskirts of Chandigarh). The project has 810 dwelling units that include 2BHK, 3BHK and EWS flats. The total built-up area is approx. 1.1 million sqft.
The Masterplan concept is to provide ample green spaces for use by the residents and their families. A central large green space with pockets of greens along peripheral towers connected to the central green creates a “green spine” that connects & integrates the residential towers. Common facilities such as Clubhouse, 24hr security, power backup, sports facilities, convenience shopping etc. has been provided as part of the Masterplan.
Vehicular movement has been restricted towards the periphery for unhindered pedestrian movement within the green space. The site is sloping with a difference of almost 9 mts from one end to the other. The slopes have been judiciously utilised such that the stilt floor of one tower aligns with the basement of the adjoining tower. This design strategy minimises excavation and land filling of soil.
The 2BHK and 3BHK units have been designed such that there is ample daylight and cross ventilation throughout the unit. Adequate balconies in each unit provide the much needed private outdoor space for families.
